“Galavant” is a musical spoof of medieval fantasy tales. It includes royalty, common folk, love, romance, and more. The humor will either work for you or not. It doesn’t work for me. This mix of “Spamalot,” “Robin Hood: Men in Tights,” and “The Princess Bride” has cute music and is adequately delivered. However, the music doesn’t add anything, really. It doesn’t increase the humor. I’ll watch “Merlin” instead, singing or not.
